A Wonderful Easter Sunday Service....
....with lots of participation from the congregation. The church was beautifully decorated by the flower ladies. After the service, the children participated in an Easter Egg Hunt, whilst Kate and Eileen had some delicious cakes for sale. Thank you everyone. The Easter Garden in the porch was a wonderful reminder of the story of the first Easter

Won't be long now!!
The long awaited connection to Welsh Water's drain is getting ever closer. We were given the date of March 18th - but this came and went. The contractor chosen by the architect did not have the correct credentials to satisfy Welsh Water's strict policy. They couldn't (or wouldn't) provide a list of suitably qualified people in the Chester area - Data protection! But now we think that we have someone to do the job. Hurrah.

Mothering Sunday
What a lovely service we had this morning! It was well attended with the children giving out Mother's Day posies to all the Mums. In fact, everyone in the service received a posy as Gill and the flower ladies had been busy and made plenty. Candles were lit for all Mothers, both past and present, and everyone stayed for a cup of tea and had a look at the new Community Room which is now in its final stages.

The Interior of The Vault is taking shape
The kitchen was fitted and the carpets laid early in January. Now we have a beautiful piano, kindly donated by Donald and Sylvia Hinton. The chairs and tables arrived and the first of the soft seating has been delivered. Nearly there!!! Drains due to be connected on March 18th. Hurrah!!
