Delivering God's message to Tattenhall Park School (and their squirrel)

February 10, 2016

Every other Tuesday Lameck, Kirstie and Vivienne deliver a fun, inspiring assembly to the children of Tattenhall Park School.

Children love stories - especially Bible stories when they're interactive, engaging and fun.
Open the Book began in 1999 and since then thousands of school children have discovered Bible stories, during assembly and collective worship.
Today, so many children could miss out on the great classic stories from the Bible - Noah, Daniel and the life of Jesus could be closed chapters if youngsters don't get an  opportunity to engage with the Bible.

We go into Tattenhall Primary School every fortnight, on a Tuesday morning and do the assembly 'Open the Book'.

Vivienne reads the story and Lameck and Kirsty act!  We often include children with small parts with props and costumes, which they love.

There's a talk after the story/acting which is relevant to today, a prayer and a good lively song at the end. All-in-all the children love it and join in.
